Westco Grounds Maintenance (“Westco”), a portfolio company of Altos Partners (“Altos”) and Gemini Investors (“Gemini”), announced the recent acquisition of Cornerstone Maintenance and Landscaping (“Cornerstone”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Cornerstone was founded in 1997 and provides landscape design, installation, maintenance, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape services to commercial and municipal clients in Houston.

Westco Grounds Maintenance is pleased to announce that Manny González, Chief Executive Officer of the company, has been honored with the Man of Achievement award presented annually by the Phi Kappa Theta Foundation. Past inductees have included such highly accomplished persons as Paul Allen (co-founder, Microsoft) and Vince Dooley (legendary football coach, University of Georgia).
